Vacation to North Carolina

My parents decided to take the whole family to Emerald Isle in North Carolina. Some of us flew out on Friday July 31 and some of us flew out on Saturday August 1 we stayed a whole week. My parents paid for everyone to fly out and covered the meals, my mom just went to costco so we had meals every night, parents also paid for everyone to stay at the beach house which was a really nice house and very expensive. It included a home theater room, pool and foosball tables, swimming pool and three hot tubs. It was really nice because we had a walk way that went straight to the beach. This house also had eight bedrooms which was nice since there was 22 of us there. The activities were fun that we planned and did. We went swimming at the beach a lot and at the pool it was nice to relax and some bonding time with the family. Church was very good this ward has the building to themselves and they are spiritual people. Coming from a state is mostly LDS to see the people there at the church really brought that spirit and helped my testimony. Monday we had FHE and went miniature golfing which we didn't end up finishing because it was a down poor but did end up going on Wednesday.
The weather was nice though for the rest of the vacation. Tuesday the boys went deep sea fishing for the whole day and caught many fish 50lbs worth, while they were doing that the girls went shopping!!! and spent the day of the beach. Wednesday we went to this really cool historic site called the Fort Macon that was used in the different wars including the civil war and world war two. It was so interesting to learn about how they lived and took care of each other. Thursday we went the aquarium, we saw many fish and even went to a show there, they let us know the different types of fish that were at the aquarium and told us that along the shores of the beach there were a lot of sunken ships out there from the wars. Later that day we went to a town called Beaufort which was cool to see the different houses marinas are everywhere and trees are all around you. Different from the city and here where we live. They had a lot of different shops and there history was cool. Some of us went back on Friday to see the pirates invasion that they were having that weekend. Unfortunately the pirates were just there they were doing the pirate fights on Saturday and that was the day that we were all coming home so we missed that the kids were sad. This trip was so amazing and just what the family needed since July was such a hard month for us. Just wanted to let my parents know that the family loves them and we really appreciate all that they do us. Love you mom and dad. Thanks for the wonderful trip!!!
